Will You Help?
We are requesting your financial support for the Emmaus Chorale’s annual Christmas concert that has been offered free of charge to the community for over 35 years. After a two-year Covid hiatus, the Chorale returns to present this year’s concert at Faith Presbyterian Church, 3002 N. Second St. Emmaus, on December 11 at 3 pm.
Following the service format introduced in 1918 at Cambridge University’s King’s College Chapel, this year’s concert will feature several medieval carols, selections from Benjamin Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols” along with traditional carols sung by the Chorale and audience. The concert also will showcase a gifted young artist, Benjamin Rieber, on the harp. Please join us for the concert and reception to follow.
Contributions – at any level – will be greatly appreciated, and will be used to pay our award-winning conductor, Janet Davis; our accompanist, Cindy Kerr; this year’s featured musician, and will help ensure that the Chorale can continue to provide both its Christmas and Spring season concerts free of charge to all.
All contributions will be acknowledged in the concert program. With our warmest wishes for a wonder-full holiday season and a happy, healthy 2023!
